Finish Time: Approximately 5.00 pm at Guildford Station. THIS IS A LINEAR WALK.
Distance: Approximately 15 miles.
Meeting Point: On the London Road, outside Dorking Deepdene Station (North side). Note this is the side exiting the station by the platform FROM Guildford. NOTE - the 09:40 from Guildford arrives at Dorking Deepdene at 09.57. I will be on the Farnham train at 09.04 (change at Guildford). However, please make your own way to the start and do not feel you have to come via Farnham.

Note 1: This is a long walk and will be at a (relatively) steady pace. This is a linear walk, we will not be returning to Dorking. There are two major hills on the way, Ranmore and St Martha's Hill. Total ascent about 1,500 feet. I assume you are relatively fit and experienced with longer walks.
Note 2: This can be walked as a five-part long walk over 5 days from Dorking to Winchester. You are welcome to join us for any or all the parts. Part 1 - Dorking to Guildford on 18 May. Part 2 - Guildford to Farnham on 22 May. Part 3 - Farnham to Alton on 25 May. Part 4 - Alton to Bishop's Sutton on 28 May. Part 5 - Bishop's Sutton to Winchester on 1 June.
Note 3: This is a linear walk, we will not be returning to Dorking
