Exploring some of the hidden archaeological sites around Farnham, this walk will introduce walkers to the lives of their ancient ancestors through the places they lived and worked. Heading east from the town centre we will visit Runfold and Badshot Lea before walking through Farnham Park looking at Stone Age, Roman and Medieaval excavation sites which have yielded artefacts now lodged in the town's stored archaeological record. This walk supports the Hidden Heritage HLF project which has produced a series of leaflets and interpretation panels around Farnham. Copies of the leaflets are obtainable from the Museum of Farnham and Farnham Town Council.)

The walk includes a couple of breaks to catch breath or have a small snack/drink. One of the stops will be at Sainsbury's Water Lane, offering a chance to visit the bathrooms (but probably not time to do your weekly shop!)
